Therapy for when insight isn’t enough
TEAM-CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a framework for conducting measurement-based therapy that is proven to be more effective than traditional CBT therapy so you can feel better faster.
YOU’VE DONE YOUR BEST TO COPE
You’ve read the books, tried to stay positive, maybe even been to therapy before. But some days still feel heavy.
There’s a part of you that wants to feel better, more calm, more present, more in control. But it’s hard when your mind is racing or your energy feels completely drained.
You might be carrying:
Anxiety that makes you overthink everything and struggle to relax
Depression that numbs your motivation or makes everyday tasks feel overwhelming
Trauma that shows up in moments you didn’t expect - tension, flashbacks, emotional shutdown
And despite how much effort you put in, you keep finding yourself stuck in the same patterns:
Being hard on yourself. Feeling disconnected. Wondering if it will ever get better.
You’re not lazy. You’re not broken.
You just haven’t had the right tools yet.
TEAM stands for four crucial ingredients of effective therapy known to improve treatment outcomes: Testing, Empathy, Agenda Setting, and Methods.
Testing
At the heart of effective therapy is the power to measure progress and hold ourselves accountable. You will complete a Brief Mood Survey at the beginning and end of every session so we can see exactly where you are and how much you've improved or failed to improve in different areas.
It also gives you an opportunity to give feedback on how empathic and helpful I’ve been or failed to be. This process takes the mystery out of therapy and ensures that we are both accountable for making tangible progress. This information will guide me to implement therapy techniques that actually do work so you can feel better faster.
Empathy
Empathy is the cornerstone of any successful therapeutic relationship. I am trained in empathy skills to help establish a warm therapeutic alliance with you. With this empathic connection, you will feel safe and comfortable talking openly about your concerns, knowing that you will be accepted, valued, understood, and respected.
Agenda Setting
Using a five-step method, I will work with you to understand your goals and create a collaborative agenda that increases motivation and helps you remove obstacles to achieve the change you desire.
Methods
TEAM-CBT Cognitive Behavioral Therapy have over 50 powerful cognitive, behavioral and interpersonal methods to help you with depression, low self esteem, anxiety, stress and trauma, unwanted habits, relationship concerns and more.
Through interactive exercises and worksheet activities, you will acquire these skills and be empowered to use them outside of our sessions. With my guidance and support, you can make lasting change and achieve the happiness and fulfillment you deserve.
