TRAUMA THERAPIST OKC | ACROSS OKLAHOMA & TEXAS

You’re ready for change that lasts

Real relief can start sooner than you think.

You are here because you’re stuck in patterns that don’t feel good.

Maybe you are…

  • On the outside, life looks fine—you’ve accomplished things you’re proud of, and others see you as capable and successful. But inside, something still feels missing. You’ve hit the milestones, checked the boxes, and done everything you thought would bring fulfillment, yet the emptiness lingers. You go through the motions, but joy and meaning feel just out of reach.

You want to feel alive again—to reconnect with what truly matters and discover a deeper sense of purpose that isn’t measured only by what you achieve.

  • You’re always on the go, juggling responsibilities and appearing steady on the outside, but inside you’re running on empty. Your mind rarely rests—overthinking, replaying conversations, and bracing for the worst. Your body feels it too: tense shoulders, restless nights, a nervous system that never switches off. Even achievements bring only brief relief before the pressure to do more returns.

You want to slow down without guilt, rest and truly feel restored. You long for calm instead of tension, clarity instead of racing thoughts, and balance instead of burnout. Most of all, you want to believe you are enough without having to keep proving it.

  • You’ve learned how to keep moving forward while tucking away the hardest parts of your story. Maybe you’ve never told anyone, or maybe you’ve shared the facts but not the feelings. Still, the past shows up in your body—through tension, triggers, or sudden waves of overwhelm. You’ve carried this weight quietly for so long, but it never truly leaves.

You long for healing that goes beyond words—relief from flashbacks, a felt sense of safety in your body, and the freedom to live fully without the past holding you back.

  • I understand how discouraging it is to try different things, even therapy, and still not find the relief you’re hoping for.

  • Your patterns didn’t appear out of nowhere. They were shaped long ago, often start as protective mechanisms but later become barriers to connection and healing.

  • Over the past 20+ years, I’ve dedicated my career to learning approaches that truly work, so people can finally experience the healing they deserve.

  • Using EMDR, CBT, parts work, and somatic approaches, we get to the root of what’s keeping you stuck — unresolved experiences, overwhelming emotions, and deeply held beliefs — so real change can happen.

  • Clients who experience relief through EMDR therapy often describe feeling lighter, like something heavy inside them has finally lifted. They feel clearer, more grounded, and more able to reconnect with the parts of themselves once overshadowed by anxiety, sadness, or trauma.

Real Change Happens when therapy reaches the deeper layers of experience - in your body, your beliefs, and your emotions.

Therapy That Heals At The Root

EMDR Therapy | CBT | Somatic Approaches | Parts Work

In our sessions, you can bring your whole self — the parts that are hurting, the parts that are resilient, and even the parts you don’t fully understand yet. Together, we’ll explore your story with curiosity, uncover where these patterns began, and help you take back your power to choose something different.

    • We begin by creating a space where you don’t have to perform, hide your pain, or hold it all together—a safe place to reflect and explore.

    • We explore the different parts of you, understanding that each has a purpose and there are no bad parts.

    • Develop inner resources and practice somatic techniques to calm your nervous system and restore balance.

  • Using EMDR therapy, TEAM-CBT, and parts work, we:

    • Uncover what’s keeping you stuck—whether it’s rooted in your upbringing, painful experiences, overwhelming emotions, or long-held beliefs.

    • Process unresolved trauma/memories that your body and mind still hold onto.

    • Replace distorted or outdated beliefs (“I’m not good enough,” “It’s my fault”) with more truthful, empowering ones

    • Reintegrate the parts of yourself shaped by trauma, restoring harmony within and helping you feel whole again.

We release what no longer serves you and make space for relief, clarity, and self-trust.

  • Healing isn’t just about feeling better during a session, it’s about change that sticks.

In this phase, you’ll learn how to:

    • Apply insights and tools to your daily life

    • Set healthy boundaries, honor your needs, and speak to yourself with kindness

    • Build resilience so old triggers lose their power over you

As this process unfolds, you will begin to feel more like yourself—less defined by the past and more in touch with your true self.

  • Stuck in self-doubt and questioning your worth.

  • Overwhelmed by past memories that keep resurfacing.

  • Feeling waves of sadness, anxiety, or emptiness.

  • Struggling to stay motivated and follow through on goals.

  • Disconnected from joy, relationships, and a sense of purpose.

To…

  • Self-compassion and treating yourself with kindness.

  • Healing past wounds and embracing the present.

  • Facing life’s challenges with emotional balance, clarity, and resilience.

  • Pursuing goals with courage, focus, and confidence.

  • Rediscovering what fulfills you, aligning with your purpose, and building meaningful relationships.

Revisiting old wounds can feel daunting, but in a safe, supportive space it can also be deeply freeing.

My commitment is to provide the highest quality care in a place where you can be fully yourself — no masking, no pretending. Come as you are, release the weight you’ve been carrying, and leave each session with a greater sense of relief, clarity, and hope.

Extended and Intensive Therapy Options

Have you ever wanted more time in a session, feeling like you were making meaningful progress, but then you had to pause?

Sometimes, we run out of time before fully reprocessing a memory or resolving an issue. As a result, you might hold onto unresolved emotions, eager for the next session to continue our work.

Longer Sessions Can Help Prevent This.

A longer session provides uninterrupted time to process deeply and reprocess a memory more fully. This can reduce the need for multiple sessions, leading to greater resolution and closure in one session. By minimizing pauses, check-ins, and restarts, longer sessions create a smoother experience. It can accelerate your progress, help you reach your goals faster, and save money in the long term.

Extended Sessions

$50 per 15-minute increment, up to 1 hour 30 minutes per session.

Emdr Intensive therapy

A two or three-hour session a day, up to three times a week, designed to accelerate healing and resolution of trauma. Read more - OK / TX

  • I understand that your life is already busy and stressful, that’s why I offer secure, HIPAA compliant online therapy. No need to worry about traffic, commute time, or scheduling conflicts. With online sessions, you can access therapy from the comfort and safety of your home or private space, allowing you to fit therapy into your life without extra stress.

All client forms and signatures are completed online and securely stored in a HIPAA-compliant electronic health record. Through the online client portal, you can access intake forms, upload and download documents, schedule appointments, make payments, and send secure messages. Additionally, you’ll receive a secure link for our telehealth therapy sessions.

  • If you experience mild to moderate symptoms, absence of suicidal/homicidal ideation and psychosis, no serious medical conditions, and no recent inpatient hospitalization, then you are likely suited for online therapy. Please schedule a complimentary consultation so we can discuss your symptoms and needs.

You must reside in Oklahoma or Texas for our therapy sessions.

Please note that I do not provide psychotherapy for individuals who are court-mandated or who require a higher level of care, such as inpatient or residential treatment. Additionally, I do not conduct evaluations for fitness for duty, custody cases, disability claims, or Emotional Support Animal (ESA) letters.

At this time, I do not accept clients who may request testimonials or therapy records for use in legal proceedings. This policy is intended to protect the confidentiality and trust essential to the therapeutic relationship and to avoid potential conflicts that may arise from court involvement.

  • I do not offer in-person sessions at this time. Conducting therapy from my own space provides me with comfort and opportunity for self-care during gaps in my schedule. This setup helps lower overhead expenses, allowing me to avoid increasing therapy fees. It also enhances safety by eliminating potential risks, like unexpected intruders, creating a secure and focused setting for our work together.

However, I recognize that some individuals may feel more comfortable or better served by in-person therapy. Clients with intense emotional dysregulation or those at higher risk may require a level of support that is sometimes more effectively provided in an in-person setting.

  • I’ve chosen not to join insurance panels so I can prioritize privacy, flexibility, and personalized care. Using insurance often requires sharing personal information and following rigid guidelines, which can limit confidentiality and treatment options.

If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to get reimbursed for part of the cost. I’ll provide a superbill you can submit to your insurance company.

To keep costs down, you can see an in-network therapist for weekly care and add me just for EMDR. Or choose an intensive for deeper work in fewer sessions. Since most insurance panels have few EMDR-certified therapists in-network, these options give you access to specialized trauma treatment while keeping your regular therapy covered.

  • Yes, online EMDR therapy follows the same principles as in-person sessions but is conducted via a secure video platform. During the session, I guide you through the same phases of EMDR, including memory processing using bilateral stimulation. I use specialized online tools, such as visual cues and auditory tones, to replicate the hand movements used in traditional in-person EMDR therapy.

I can show you how it works during our video consultation.

  • Yes, research suggests that EMDR therapy can be just as effective when conducted online as it is in person. Many clients find the convenience and comfort of being in their own space to be beneficial for the therapeutic process.

It's important that you're in a private, quiet space where you won't be interrupted during your session.

  • Yes, you can see me for EMDR therapy only while continuing with your current therapist. EMDR can be a focused, short-term addition to your ongoing work, helping you target specific memories or symptoms without having to start over.

  • You will need a video-enabled device with a microphone and internet connection, such as a computer or tablet. Cell phone is suitable for our initial video consultation but is not ideal for therapy sessions. With CBT approach, I frequently utilize screen sharing and introduce techniques through handouts and worksheet, so using a computer or tablet would be more beneficial for you. For EMDR therapy, a larger screen is ideal for visual bilateral stimulation, such as eye movements.

  • Consistent weekly therapy provides steady support for complex issues like trauma or anxiety. Regular sessions build trust, prevent slowdowns or setbacks, allow for faster skill integration, speeding up your ability to apply them in daily life, and more cost-effective for you over time. By scheduling weekly sessions, we can promptly address any challenges or new issues that may arise. My ultimate goal is for you to experience faster relief and make tangible progress so you do not have to stay in therapy forever!

For clients who are highly motivated and eager to accelerate their progress, I offer extended therapy sessions (up to 1 hour 30 minutes/session) and Intensive (OK / TX) therapy sessions (3-9 hours a week).
